Here’s one of the framework we use around here to design website. I name this , but there is also Joomla ( previously knowned as Mambo ) who is an open source framework, or wordpress for blogs.
We are currently working on a french version of our website wine.zelous.com, ‘coz the idea was stolen from us by american.
This is one of the problem you may face on releasing early apps, it’s to have your idea stolen en develloped by others.
This copy is build on the same framework in looks very similar to ours.

File maker pro 8 , we use it for designing a app for a music recording studio who needs to be a bit more organized.
Vox , my project is on a waiting track for a few days, ‘coz we’re quiet busy, and one of us is on holidays this week, and it’s a 3 days week ! So and on, we’ll take him back in hand next week.

Those last days, I’ve surfed a lot just to look around for web 2.0 sites, in order to have a look at the innovations in this particular type of websites. Podcast and vodcast, many to many website, local news by citizens.

Yesterday , I gaved my firsts explainations about how I see this site. I had 2 advices, two complete differents ones !
For sure, I’ll simplify my project even more with letting an auto moderation ( voting button system),a simple log and pw, and all the others infos for the searchs will have to be filled if desired, in a Profile page.
Maybe I can avoid the answers part and let everything in sight in the comments part.

I need to re-think the ultimate goal of this site. Is it suppose to be just a public site for claims and expression, or a database for administratives informations.This is crucial coz it will need differents interface regarding the orientation choice.

We’ll, here is the new project I’ve been working on those last day.

For now, It’s only a few screens or 15 , just handly drawed, that gives an idea about where I wanna go.

This is suppose to be an open tribune to belgian citiziens where they can try to apostrophize our politicians or at least, get some pertinent information about their rights. It’s will be base on questions asked by users, with a voting system regarding the questions. Once the question has interested more than 20 people ( That’s why the vote is for ), our video reporter will interview the legal remittee. Our reporter will also stand outside some crowded places and ask the public if they have any thing to ask to our governement.

This site will be with text and Vodcast.

Without beeing logged in, users will have acces to the ability to vote for all questions, have a look at the comments, at the already published answers, videos from our reporter trought our search engine.

Beeing logged in, should make the searchs more pertinent, coz we’ll have some crucial information for pertinent answers, it will give user the ability to drop a question on the site ( That will need to be admin checked once a day for spamming or if already published ). The double publication should be avoid by taging the master ideas of the questions and group them when user validate his sending. Each question, each comment will be validate by administrator. It must also become a database about procedures, advises, ways to follow, and the feedback that the users will give us in their comments or uploads docs on several files type (.pdf, .jpg, .mpeg, ect…).

At the end , this is suppose to become a communication link between our government and the silent majority. As usually, this will be a one way link, becoz if the governement was listening to us, this will be a MIRACLE !!!
